The SSI Fish Identification Specialty is designed to help divers better understand and recognize the marine life they encounter underwater. Oceans are home to thousands of fish species, and this course teaches you how to identify common reef fish families found throughout the Caribbean, Indo-Pacific, and Red Sea regions.

While there are no certification prerequisites for the Open Water Course, you must be medically fit to dive and able to swim 200m unassisted -or- snorkel for 300m.
