🌞Boga Wreck🌞
A 20-minute drive from our shop lies the Boga Wreck, perfect for those who enjoy swim-throughs and intact ships.
✦ Purposefully Sunk - The Boga Wreck is a 40-meter-long ship that was deliberately sunk in 2012 to create an artificial reef for divers and to promote marine life. It has become a popular dive site over the years for good reason!
✦ Depth - The top of the wreck sits at about 18m, so you must hold an Advanced certification to visit this exciting wreck.
✦ Diverse Marine Life - As more coral starts to cover the wreck, several species of marine life have made this their home. Keep your eyes peeled for exciting macro on the slopes that surround the site, and if you are lucky you may see something bigger going past when you’re down near the ship.
✦ Entry / Exit - This is a rocky entry, be sure to use your guide or buddy for assistance getting in and out of the water.
✦ Good To Know - If you hold an EANx certification, opt for Nitrox on this dive to give yourself sufficient bottom time to explore this exciting wreck! If you have a torch, bring it along to illuminate the inner sections and see things more clearly!
